​Participants from South Africa will represent Africa at the Congress

On July 13, as part of a cultural visit of the Ambassador of South Africa in the Russian Federation Nomasonto Maria Sibanda-Thusi at the Ural social-pedagogical university, we have reached an agreement to have participants from South Africa join the First World Congress for persons with disabilities.



The ambassador arrived to the Urals with a delegation, with the purpose of developing humanitarian and economic cooperation with the government of the Sverdlovsk region. At the meeting at the Ural Social-Pedagogical university, the CEO of “Forum Zhenshchin Urala” (trans., Forum of Ural women) Ludmila Zolotnitskaya and the head of Blagoe Delo NGO Vera Simakova presented socially important projects of the Sverdlovsk region, including the preparation to the First World Congress for persons with disabilities (September 7-10, 2017 in Yekaterinburg). Mrs Nomasonto Maria Sibanda-Thusi expressed interest in the event, labeling it an important social initiative that must be supported.
