Inclusive Art for the Congress

This autumn, during the preparation to the First World Congress for Persons with Disabilities, the two important and bright events took place in Yekaterinburg. Inclusive dancers were on the stage of the Inclusive Art Festival in October 29, and inclusive musical bands showed their talents in November 12. The Festival brought together more than 300 participants from all over the Russia.

The inclusive art united the professionals and the amateurs so we could see the new unique blend and enjoy the amazing creative performances, plenty of which will appear the next year as a part of the cultural program of the First World Congress for Persons with Disabilities.
The crew of the festival expresses their gratitude to the Ministry of Social Policy of Sverdlovsk region, the US Consulate General in Yekaterinburg and a nonprofit organization “Blagoe Delo” – their help and support made the event happen.

This festival became something more than just another cultural and social project. It is a starting point for a great number of people, who hadn’t the chance to be on the stage. It is a kind opportunity for sharing the experience, it is the expression of talents, it is the way to do something very important all together.
